Alissa H. Bledsoe
Nurse Practitioner
Alissa Bledsoe joined the HOAF team in September 2021. Alissa’s motivation comes from her patients and their families and she is grateful for the unique opportunity to help guide them through some of their most vulnerable experiences.
“Taking care of patients in their most vulnerable state is a privilege that should never be taken lightly. From the moment I started working at HOAF, I knew this was where I was meant to be. To help and serve those at their most vulnerable.”
Alissa graduated from Eastern Virginia Career College in 2015 as a registered nurse. She went on to receive her BSN at Western Governors University in 2017. She then graduated from Simmons University in 2019 with her Master of Science in Nursing as a board-certified family nurse practitioner. Prior to receiving her master’s degree, Alissa worked in cardiac surgery as an RN for five years. Supporting her patients during their treatments and helping guide them throughout the entire process is why Alissa loves what she does.
In her free time, Alissa loves spending time with her husband and two daughters. Her hobbies include reading, watching movies and crafting.
