Kelly Stephens

Nurse Practitioner

Kelly Stephens joined the HOAF team in June 2021. Her motivation stems from providing care, compassion, and encouragement for patients during their most difficult and vulnerable times.

“I am excited to be part of an organization with unparalleled service to its patients and community. The reputation and example set by the physicians, APPs, and staff for high standards in quality, care, and respect that is provided to each patient is unmatched.”

Kelly started working as a registered nurse in 2006 and has experience in ER, PACU, and as a hospital nursing supervisor. She later graduated from Old Dominion University in 2019 with a Masters of Science in Nursing and her family nurse practitioner certification. After graduation, she went on to work as a hospitalist from 2019 to 2021, prior to joining HOAF. Kelly is currently completing her doctorate of nursing practice at Radford University.

When not in the office or working towards her doctorate, Kelly enjoys spending time with her family.
