Dr. Issa joined HOAF in September, 2023. His devotion to the fields of hematology and oncology is driven by an earnest commitment to enhancing the health outcomes of the community.

A distinguished speaker at international events and a prolific author, Dr. Issa has contributed extensively to medical literature, with numerous publications in peer-reviewed medical journals. His affiliations encompass prominent organizations such as The American Society of Hematology (ASH), The American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), The European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO), and The American Medical Association (AMA).
His academic journey began with a Medical Education (M.D.) earned from the University of Aleppo Faculty of Medicine, Aleppo, Syria. Subsequently, he completed an Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at Unity Health System in Rochester, NY. Dr. Issa completed a Fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology at the Ohio State University.
In addition to his medical proficiency, Dr. Issa is multilingual. He is fluent in English and Arabic and has a proficient command of French. When not at work, he enjoys traveling, soccer, and cherished moments spent with his family.
